DIYUBIAN is an illustrative works inspired by Akutagawa Ryunosuke's novels, seeking for human nature and desire. We have been trying to close the real heart of our own, replacing with illusions. The green fire of desire burns flesh and soul. This is a traditional Japanese literati painting technique to explore the real spiritual world. Apart from this, I have been taken a keen interest in cultural intersection between China and Japan as well as cultural integration of Chinese and western countries. which lead me to create THE KANJI ABC project.
