WEARY BREATH is a mixed art-form that was inspired by my study of the disadvantages of mechanical reproduction period [such as environmental pollution, information fragmentation, uncontrollable artificial intelligence, etc.]
I want to interrogate and explore the synergies between digital art and photography, technology and moving image（the moving part is shown in my showreel slide.） It reflects the circulation that modern society keeps doing self-torture and self-rescue.
As Roland Barthes explained that a picture creates a falseness in the illusion of ‘what is’, where ‘what was’ would be a more accurate description. WEARY BREATH can be explained literally to the consequence of air pollution, it also means the “weary”society as the over-urbanization and big data era coming.
